About Me

I am Jussara Pessoa, a psychologist trained in Brazil, with an MBA in Strategic People Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV). In the U.S., I am licensed for Christian and Pastoral Counseling by the National Christian Counselor Association (NCCA) and am currently a doctoral candidate in Christian Counseling.

My clinical approach combines psychology, Christian principles, and compassionate care, seeking a balance between science and  human connection. I have experience helping clients overcome  psychological and emotional conflicts, promoting overall well-being  and personal growth.

I am the mother of two young adults, and this personal  experience gives me an even more sensitive and in-depth  perspective on issues related to emotional development and the  challenges faced by young people and adults in daily life.

Additionally, I hold clinical specializations in Cognitive Therapy and Brief  Psychotherapy from Universidade São Camilo-SP, as well as in Temperament-Based Therapy (USA). I am also licensed for hospital chaplaincy in both Brazil and the United States, allowing me to work in environments of high emotional  vulnerability, providing both psychological and spiritual support.
